As part of our growing team, you will have the unique opportunity to participate in the development of a digital platform designed to develop and finance carbon credit projects. This role will contribute to scaling climate action in critical geographies for global carbon markets.

Product Designer

Design at Qatalyst is not about aesthetics alone -  it is about clarity, trust, and decision-grade UX in complex, data-driven workflows.

 

The Role

​

We are looking for a Product Designer who can design serious B2B software and move fast using modern, AI-assisted design-to-build tools. You will help shape how capital allocators interact with climate data, risk signals, due-diligence insights, and AI-generated intelligence.

​

This role requires someone who is comfortable designing complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and credibility-driven UX while staying hands-on and execution-oriented.

What You Will Do

​

Product & UX Ownership

 

Own end-to-end design for key Qatalyst modules:

  • Project discovery & comparison

  • Due diligence insights & risk signals

  • Investor / buyer workflows

  • Dashboards, analytics, and reports

  • Translate complex domain requirements (climate, carbon, finance, compliance) into clear, intuitive user journeys

  • Design UX that builds trust, transparency, and confidence in AI-generated outputs

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to shape product direction, not just screens

  • Apply strong information architecture for complex data models

 

Design Systems & Execution

  • Build and evolve a scalable design system aligned with Qatalyst’s product and brand

  • Design reusable components and patterns that support rapid product expansion

  • Ensure production-ready designs with engineering-friendly specs

  • Modern Prototyping & “Vibe Coding”

  • Leverage modern, AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate iteration,

  • Create interactive prototypes or design-to-code outputs engineers can quickly implement

  • Collaborate closely with engineers using component-based systems (e.g. ShadCN / Tailwind-style libraries)

 

What We’re Looking For

 

Required Experience

  • 5–7 years of experience designing B2B SaaS products.

  • Proven experience with:

  • Data-heavy dashboards

  • Complex workflows and enterprise UX

  • Strong portfolio showing problem-solving depth, not just visual polish

  • Tooling & Mindset

  • Highly hands-on with modern UI/UX and prototyping tools

  • Comfortable working in AI-native product environments

Strong understanding of design systems and component-based design

Familiarity with front-end constraints

 

Ways of Working

  • Product-first mindset

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration

  • Able to engage deeply with technical and domain-heavy topics

  • Strong communicator who can defend design decisions with clarity and logic

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in climate tech, fintech, energy, or regulated domains

  • Familiarity with carbon markets, financial workflows, or compliance-driven products

  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS

  • Experience in early-stage or scale-up environments
